Monaf gets bail

Satkania upazila Chairman Abdul Monaf, accused in the murder of the Nulua Union Parishad chairman, was granted bail by the Chief Judicial Magistrate's Court in Chittagong city yesterday. On January 12, Monaf, a local Awami League leader, was granted a three-month interim bail from High Court. Yesterday's bail will be valid till police submits its report on the murder to the court, said the court sources. Nulua Union Parishad Chairman Nurul Abser, who is also a local Jubo League leader, was murdered inside his residence on December 26, 2011.
