Maintain congenial atmosphere: Cuta
Chittagong University Teachers' Association (Cuta) leaders yesterday placed proposals to all concerned, including the government and the university authorities, for maintaining a congenial atmosphere of education on the campus.
The leaders placed the proposals at a press conference in Cuta office around 11:30am yesterday.
The proposals included appointing student adviser to every department and institute of the university; immediately implementing the proposed Model Police Station on the CU campus and deploying adequate law enforcers on the campus until then; and ensuring safe stay of residential students in and around the campus.
Cuta General Secretary Mohammad Ali Asgar Chowdhury read out a written statement in this regard.
