Call to acquire knowledge-based education
Press Secretary to the Prime Minister Abul Kalam Azad yesterday urged youths to acquire knowledge-based education to become worthy citizen of the country.
“We must shun the culture of animosity and jealousy for our brighter future”, he said.
He was addressing as chief guest a function organised in remembrance of his past association with Bose cabin, a tea stall, marking its 90th anniversary at Narayanganj High School and College auditorium.
Director General of Ansar and VDP Major General Md Zahidur Rahman, Deputy Commissioner Monoj Kanti Boral, New Age Editor Nurul Kabir, Managing Editor of Daily Sangbad Kashem Humayun, Deputy Chief Reporter of BSS Halim Azad, BSS reporter of Narayanganj Abdul Khaleque, President of Narayanganj Krishak League Rokon uddin Ahmed, daughter- in-law of late Bulu Bose Gouri Bose and General Secretary of Dhaka Divisional Sports Association KV Aksir also addressed the gathering.
'Amra Addabaj' organised the function. Bose cabin was built by late Bulu Bose in 1921 at Railway crossing No-I.
