Two held for storing liquor
The Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested two persons and seized seven litres of locally made liquor from a house in Rahattar Pool area of Chittagong city early yesterday.
Roksana Akhter, 26, and Md Ahsab Uddin, 18, were arrested for storing the liquor for sale, says a press release. A mobile court, later, fined them Tk 2,500 each.
On a tip, a DB team made the drive in Rahattar Pool area around 1:30am.
