CU probe body yet to submit report
The probe body, formed a day after the February 8 clash between Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) and Islami Chhatra Shibir (ICS) activists on Chittagong University (CU) campus, is yet to submit its report.
The five-member body headed by CU biological faculty dean Prof Dr Md Nural Anwar was initially asked to submit the probe report to the CU authorities by February 28, failing which the committee was given another seven days.
But the committee failed to submit its report for the second time yesterday.
Acting Proctor AHM Selimullah, member secretary of the probe body, said the committee sought ten more days to submit the report.
