Launch social movement: Dilip Barua

Industries Minister Dilip Barua yesterday said social movement is needed to teach the new generation the correct history of the War of Liberation. “Defeated forcers are still hatching conspiracy to distort history of the liberation war even after 40 years of the independence,” Dilip Barua said. The minister made the remarks while speaking at a prize distribution ceremony of children's drawing competition at Shantibagh High School in the city, a press release said. Amra Balte Chai, a social welfare organisation, organised the function with its adviser Sheikh Sekandar Ali in the chair. Dilip Barua called upon the progressive and the forces believing in the spirit of liberation war to be united to save the achievements of the glorious War of Liberation. The minister said new generation should work to build Sonar Bangla as dreamt by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Later, he distributed prizes among the winners.
