AL joint meet today
Ruling Awami League (AL) will hold a joint meeting with the party's key leaders, lawmakers, district council administrators of the city and all of its adjacent districts today to make them alert about main opposition BNP's any possible 'evil plan' in the name of March 12 grand rally in the capital.
Highly placed sources said that the government and the AL have information that the opposition party was planning to stage a sit-in for few days in the city in the name of grand rally by bringing people from across the country with a slogan “Chalo Chalo Dhaka Chalo.”
The joint meeting of leaders of all associated bodies and the party's city and district units, and Narayanganj, Narsingdi, Manikganj and Munshiganj districts, lawmakers of greater Dhaka and district council administrators will be held at party's central office on Bangabandhu Avenue in the city at 11:00am.
