ICT adjourns hearing till Sunday
The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) yesterday adjourned the hearing on four separate petitions of BNP lawmaker Salauddin Quader Chowdhury till Sunday next week.
The two-member tribunal headed by its Chairman Justice Md Nizamul Huq adjourned the hearing as the prosecution yesterday continued its arguments till afternoon on a discharge petition of Salauddin Quader, who is facing charges of crimes against humanity at the tribunal.
Defence counsels of the Chittagong lawmaker finished their lengthy arguments on the petitions on Monday before prosecution began its arguments on that day.
Prosecutor Zead Al Malum resumed the arguments yesterday after the tribunal began the day's proceedings at around 10:40am.
