Deer rescued at CU
Chittagong University (CU) authorities rescued a barking deer on the campus yesterday.
The deer, aged around three to four years, got stuck behind the Faculty of Science at night after falling from the nearby hill and also received minor injuries, said Prof Dr Md Farid Ahsan of Zoology Department.
On information, the authorities rescued the deer, Prof Farid said, adding that now it was under the supervision of the department.
It would be released in the forest after recovery, he further said.
