600 Yaba tablets seized, one held
Police arrested a person and seized 600 pieces of Yaba tablets from his possession at Kalamia Bazar in the port city on Monday night.
The arrestee was identified as Rezaul Karim alias Redwan, 23, hailing from Hariakhal village of Teknaf upazila in Cox's Bazar.
Acting on tip-off, police raided the area at around 10:45pm and arrested him with the contraband drugs, said Bakalia Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI) Ataur Rahman.
The price of the Yaba was estimated at Tk 2.40 lakh, said the SI.
