Expatriate electrocuted in Ctg
An expatriate was electrocuted at a hospital at Patiya upazila in the district yesterday.
The deceased is Shawkat Ali, 22, son of Mohammed Nur, hailing from Hulayin village in the upazila.
The victim visited Karnaphuli Eye Hospital at around 11:30pm on Sunday to see his ailing father. He was electrocuted as he came in touch with an electric wire while getting out of a cabin, said family and police at Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH). He was rushed to the CMCH where the on-duty doctors declared him dead at around 12:30am.
