Outlaw arrested with gun
Members of the Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested a cadre of an outlawed party along with a firearm at Kadmi Bhaudanga village in Sadar upazila early yesterday. Police said The arrestee, Solaiman Sheikh, 45, is an active member of Purba Banglar Communist Party (ML-- Lal Pataka). Acting on a tip-off, a team of Rab-12 conducted a drive at Kadmi Bhaudanga village and arrested Solaiman with a shutter gun at around 1:00 pm.
