Night guard murdered
A night guard was found dead at Dattapara area under Natore Sadar upazila yesterday morning.
The dead, Abdur Rahman, 60, was a night guard at Bhai Bhai Plastic Company in the Dattapara BSCIC Industrial area.
Abdullah Al Mamun, officer-in-charge of Natore Police Station, said locals found the body of Abdur Rahman in a room of Bhai Bhai Plastic Company and informed the police.
Ruhul Amin, owner of Bhai Bhai Plastic Company, said unidentified criminals chopped Rahamn to death and looted Tk 10,000 from him.
