25 bodies to hold DU convocation
Dhaka University authorities formed one executive committee, one managing committee and 23 sub-committees to hold its 46th convocation on March 31.
A meeting headed by Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique on Thursday decided to invite Director General of World Trade Organisation, Pascal Lamy, as the convocation speaker.
Graduates attaining degrees from December 12, 2009 till date will be able to attend the convocation.
DU treasurer, faculty deans, hall provosts, departmental heads, directors of the institutes, members of senate and syndicate and representatives of the teachers' association were present at the meeting.
