Shibir man held in Sylhet
Police on Sunday noon arrested an activist of Islami Chhatra Shibir from the city's Madina Market area for his involvement in an attack on a Chhatra League activist.
The arrestee was identified as Borhanuddin, a Masters student of the Statistics Department of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) and son of Asmat Ali of Brahmanpara upazila in Comilla.
Police said BCL activist Badrul Alam, also third year student of the Sust economics department, was injured when the Shibir men attacked him on January 16.
