Housewife commits 'suicide'
A housewife allegedly killed herself by hanging from the branch of a tree beside their house at Tajpur village in Singra upazila on Saturday night. The deceased was identified as Runa Begum, 24, wife of Abdul Matin of the village. Fayesur Rahman, officer in-charge of Singra police station, said quoting locals Runa committed suicide at around 1:00am following an altercation with her husband over a trifling matter. After postmortem, his body was handed over to his family members on Saturday night.
