Man murdered in Chuadanga
Police recovered the body of a young man from a crop field at Peyaratala village in Jibannagar upazila yesterday morning.
The deceased was identified as Shahidul Islam, 46, son of late Delwar Hossain of the village.
Police said local people found the body in the field at about 10am and informed them.
Police suspected that criminals strangled Shahidul late at night over extra-marital affairs and left the body in the field.
Police detained Shahidul's wife Shahanaz Begum for interrogation.
