BSF yet to hand over youth to BGB
Indian Border Security Force (BSF) is yet to hand over a Bangladeshi youth to Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB).
The youth was picked up by BSF from a paddy field in Genduguri border area of Hatibandha upazila on Monday afternoon.
Identified as Sadekul Islam,19, son of Syed Ali, a resident of Singirmari village, he was working in their paddy field at that time, BGB said quoting local people.
BGB of Singimari BOP camp sent a letter to BSF at Mirapara camp of Coochbehar district demanding release of Sadekul on Monday.
BGB received a letter from BSF yesterday morning which said that Sadekul Islam was arrested with 20 bottles of phensidyl in Indian territory and he was handed over to the police.
