Businessman shot in city
Some miscreants shot a real estate businessman in the city's Pallabi area last night.
The victim was Shahabuddin Khan, 38, a resident in the area's block-D and sector-11.
Pallabi police said four armed men came in a private car and shot at Shahabuddin indiscriminately while he was talking to his wife in front of his house at around 8:00pm.
Police suspect that the attack might have been occurred over a land dispute.
Shahabuddin was owner of a real estate company, Maa Real Estate. He took money from several people but did not allot plots or apartments, police said.
