Body found in Keraniganj
The decomposed body of a youth was recovered from a house at Hauli village in Keraniganj on the outskirts of the capital city yesterday.
The deceased is Kawsar Ahmed, 26, of the village.
After receiving bad odour from a room of the house of one Russell, locals informed the police at about 1:30am.
Police recovered the slaughtered body from the floor of the house after breaking open the door lock at 7:00am.
The body was sent to Mitford Hospital morgue for autopsy.
Sazzad Roman, Assistant Sub Inspector of Keraniganj Model Police Station suspect that the house inmates hacked him to death over previous enmity some three days ago and went into hiding.
