Youth jailed for stalking
A mobile court on Tuesday sentenced a youth to one year and six months imprisonment for sexually harassing a schoolgirl at Barakandi village in Jajira upazila.
The convict Raihan Mridha, 18, son of Dudu Mia of Nawab Ali Howlader Kandi village.
Local people caught Raihan from in front of Amjadia Academy while teasing Suma Akter, 14, student of class VIII of the academy and handed over him to police.
After examining the witnesses Jajira Upazila Nirbahi Officer Bhikhar ud-Dowla handed down the verdict.
