Suchitra Sen film festival kicks off
The third Suchitra Sen film festival kicked off here last night. Noted film artiste Faruk inaugurated the weeklong programme at the district town hall at about 7:30pm.
Suchitra Sen Smrity Shangrakkhan Parishad organised the festival with the demand to free the ancestral home of the screen legend from the grabbers.
'Sare 74', the blockbuster film by Suchitra was screened on the opening day while Andhi, Grihadaha, Sunflower, Hospital, Ekti Rat and other films will be shown at the festival.
