Another body found in Dhaleshwari
Body of another unidentified man was found in the Dhaleshwari River here yesterday.
However, police could not identify the victim but said he was around 40 years old.
Locals found the body floating in the river near Noyagaon Maddhyapara and later informed police.
The victim wore a red T-shirt and jeans.
The body was tied with two sacks filled with bricks so that it remains under water, said Munsiganj Sadar Police Station officer in-charge (OC) Shahidul Islam.
After recovery, police sent the body to Munshiganj General Hospital for autopsy.
The OC suspected that the man might be another victim of recently happened secret killings.
Earlier, police recovered the bodies of seven people in eight days since December 15, 2011.
Most of the bodies were recovered from the Dhaleshwari River and nearby water bodies in the district.
