4 BNP, JCD men hurt in attack by 'AL activists'
Four leaders of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and Jatiyatabadai Chhatra Dal (JCD) were injured as the ruling party activists allegedly attacked them in Jibonnagar upazila on Tuesday.
The injured BNP leaders Yunus and Shiplu and JCD leaders Tuhin and Likhon were admitted to the upazila health complex.
Upazila JCD sources said activists of Jubo League attacked them with sticks and iron rod at bus stand crossing in the district town at 6:00pm when they were returning homes after attending a meeting at the party office.
No one was arrested in connection with the attack as of filing of this report at 6:00pm yesterday.
