Youth's body recovered
Police recovered the body of a young man from Madargonj village of Sadar upazila on Saturday afternoon. The victim was identified as Sohel Rana, 22, son of Tosimuddin of Jamalpur Barapugi village in the upazila. Md Jahidul Islam, sub-inspector of Thakurgaon Police Station, said on information, they recovered Sohel's body from a sugarcane field at the village at about 4:00pm. The body was sent to Thakurgoan Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy. Criminals might have strangled Sohel, the SI added.
