Arms, ammo recovered
Detective Branch (DB) of police in a drive seized a foreign made 6mm pistol, two magazines and 13 bullets in New Market area of the district town yesterday morning. They also arrested two people-- Khokon Mia, 25, and Suroj Miah, 26in this connection. DB Sub-Inspector Bakkar Hossain said, on secret information, they raided the area at about 11:00am and arrested the duo along with the firearms and ammunition.
