3 held with arms, ammo
Police arrested three people along with a revolver and six bullets at a market in Joypurhat district town yesterday afternoon.
The arrestees are Farid Hossain, 33, son of Abdul Kuddus of Faridpur village in Sadar upazila, Ibrahim Mollah, 31, son of late Yousuf Mollah of Santinagar of Joypurhat municipality and Rocky, 21, son of Ismail Hossain of Nisirmore of the town.
On secret information, a team of Joypurhat police raided a footwear warehouse at Ananda Super Market at about 4:30pm and arrested the three along with the firearm and ammunition, said Abu Hena Mostafa Kamal, officer in-charge of the police station.
