Outlaw hacked to death
A 'regional leader' of a faction of Purbo Banglar Communist Party (PBCP) was hacked to death at Hadal Beel in Faridpur upazila early yesterday.
The deceased, Motaleb Hossain alias Choita, 35, was one of the most wanted criminals on police list. He was accused in several cases, said police.
Md Abdul Hamid, officer in-charge of Faridpur police station, said on information, they recovered Motaleb's body from the water body yesterday morning at about 11:30am.
The body was sent to Pabna Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
Motaleb might have been killed by rivals at midnight and the body was dumped there, the OC added.
