Two outlaws killed in Khulna, Pabna
Two operatives of outlawed Purbo Banglar Communist Party (PBCP) were murdered in Khulna and Pabna on Tuesday night.
In Khulna, Police recovered the body of outlaw Niamul Islam, 38, from near Camelia Kindergarten School at Matamdanga in Khulna city yesterday, according to our staff correspondent.
Police said Niamul was an armed cadre of PBCP (Janajuddho faction) and a charge sheeted accused in city BNP leader Manjil Master murder case.
Humayun Kabir, officer-in-charge of Khan Jahan Ali police station, said Niamul was also wanted in a triple murder case recorded with Abhoynagar Police Station in Jessore district.
Sub-Inspector (SI) Zahurul Islam of Khanjahan Ali police station said they recovered the bullet-riddled body of the outlaw at around 11:00am.
Naimul's wife Raushan Ara Lila said her husband went out of the house at Matamdanga at 9:30 pm on Tuesday and did not come back at night.
Our Pabna correspondent reported that the body of an operative of the banned outfit was found in Balughata Beel (water body) area of Faridpur upazila yesterday morning.
Md Abdul Hamid, officer-in-charge of Faridpur police station, said locals found the body of Abdur Rahim, 38, at around 8:00am and informed the police.
Police said Rahim hailed from Balighata village under Ataikula upazila of the district.
