Youth jailed for stalking
A mobile court here on Friday sentenced a youth to one year imprisonment for sexually harassing a schoolgirl.
The convict was identified as Raju, 24, son of Azizur Rahman alias Laltu of Barakul village in Sadar upazila.
Police said Raju used to tease a class IV girl student on her way to school.
Following a complaint by the victim's father, police raided the house of Raju early Friday and arrested him.
Later, he was produced before the mobile court led by executive magistrate Abdur Rahman who after examining the witnesses handed down the punishment.
