Spurious liquor kills 2
Two goldsmiths died while three fell sick after drinking spurious liquor in Bagerhat Sadar upazila on Friday. The deceased were identified as Ananda, 42, and Giash Sheikh, 45. Three others- Kader, Kalu, and Babul, are now undergoing treatment at Bagerhat Sadar Hospital. Police said the five fell sick after drinking rectified sprit on Wednesday night. Later, they were admitted to the hospital in a critical condition where the duo died.
