Real estate co staff found dead in office

Rampura police recovered the hanging body of a staff from inside his office building at Banasree in the city yesterday. The deceased, Habibur Rahman, 45, a resident of Bhuiyan para in Khilgaon, was working as a technical assistant of Arma Real Estate Company. Sub-Inspector Abdul Haque of Rampura Police Station said, breaking open the door, police found the body hanging from the ceiling fan of a room in the sixth floor of the seven-storey office building around 12:30am. Police sent the body to Dhaka Medical College morgue for autopsy. Quoting his wife Runia Begum, police said Habibur left for office on Tuesday and did not return home at night. Also, family members could not reach him on his phone that night, police added. Later, family members searched his office with the assistance of office staffs and found the specific room's door locked from inside. His cousin Mahfuz Ahmed said Habibur was suffering from frustration over his financial loss in the share market for past few months. He continued the trading borrowing money from relatives, his cousin added.
