The International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women was observed through holding different programmes in the town yesterday. Odhikar held a grand rally in the town hall. Zakir Hossain, a leader of the organisation, stressed the need for raising massive awareness and integrated efforts to stop violence against women.
