Prisoner dies at hospital
A prisoner of district jail died at Jessore 250-bed Hospital early Wednesday.
The deceased was Deen Islam, 44, son of Hasan Mollah of Kusla village under Tarokhada upazila in Khulna.
He was convicted in a murder case in the upazila. He has been suffering from illness since long, jail sources said.
Deputy Jailer Joinal Abedin said they admitted Islam to the hospital after he fell seriously ill on Tuesday night.
He died at about 2:00am.
