Perhaps the citizens of Bangladesh still wonder if the minus two formula coined by the last caretaker government was a correct move or not. As years pass by, it is becoming increasingly evident that the fate of the nation is beholden to two political families and their sycophants. The political scenario of Bangladesh is very pathetic. Perhaps the voters in the next general election can bring about a sea change and lead Bangladesh to a new era of peace and development. I wonder whether the voters will rise to the occasion as we did during the 1970 general election.
