Youth stabbed to death
Unidentified miscreants stabbed a youth to death at Hazaribagh in the city yesterday.
The deceased, Mohammad Sohel, 20, son of Mohammad Hanif, resident of Mitali Road in the area, was a construction worker.
Police recovered the body around 8:00am from a vacant plot near Shikder Medical College in Hazaribagh and sent it to Sir Salimullah Medical College morgue for autopsy.
Sohel's family members said three youths came to meet Sohel on Sunday around 10:00pm and ever since he was missing until they came to know of his death from police.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) Rafiqul Islam of Hazaribagh Police Station said Sohel used to mingle with the spoilt youths in his locality and had a quarrel with one of them Sunday afternoon.
