Suspected JMB man arrested
Police arrested a suspected cadre of outlawed JMB at Tambulpur Masterpara village in Pirgachha upazila of the district on Sunday night.
The arrestee is Saiful Islam, 35, son of Md Ali of the village.
Police said Saiful Islam, a teacher of Shibdebchar High School, was involved in regrouping the JMB activists in the area.
Acting on a tip-off, police raided Saiful's house and arrested him. They also seized a number of books on jihad and bomb-making materials from there.
