Mysterious death of housewife
Body of a housewife was recovered from her house at Sachanchak village in the uapzila Monday morning.
The deceased was identified as Aklima Begum, 30, wife of Gouchh Uddin of Sachanchak village of Charkhai union. Her body was hanging from the ceiling.
Victim's family alleged that Aklima was killed by her husband following a family feud. On the other hand, Aklima's husband said she committed suicide following an altercation.
In Faridpur, police recovered the body of a youth from a pond in Alfadanga upazila headquarter yesterday morning.
The deceased was identified as Kabir, 30, son Solemaan Mollah of Helencha area of Alfadanga upazila.
