Old man commits 'suicide'
An old man allegedly committed suicide at Mellekpara village in Sadar upazila on Monday night. The deceased was identified as Md Hossain Ali, son of late Golap Dai of the village. Quoting local people police said, following a family feud, Hossain Ali committed suicide by hanging himself from a mango tree branch near his house at about 9:30 pm. On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Satkhira morgue for postmortem.
