Twin sisters drown
Twin sisters drowned in a pond at South Bishnudi village in Sadar upazila on Wednesday. The deceased were identified as Mim, 2, and Jim, 2, daughters of Mohammad Shah Alam of Khalifa Bari area of the village.
Locals said the twin girls while playing on the bank of a pond near their house in the evening suddenly slipped into it.
