4 sued for 'killing' domestic help
Four people were sued on charge of allegedly killing a domestic help after rape at Gopalpur village in Shyamnagar upazila on September 18 night.
The victim was identified as Sima Khatun, 14, daughter of Habibur Rahman of the village.
Victim's father Habibur Rahman filed the case with Shyamnagar police station on September 23.
The complainant said that Sima worked as a domestic help at Ojaer Ali Mollah's house for the last two months. On the fateful night, Ojaer Ali entered the room of Sima and raped her, he alleged. Despite his threat not to disclose the matter to any body, Sima raised a hue and cry, he alleged further. So, the culprit killed her and hung her to a nearby tree to suppress the truth. He also hurriedly buried her, the victim's father complained.
