Beheaded body recovered
The beheaded body of an unidentified man was found floating in the Baka Beel of Atrai upazila in Naogaon yesterday.
Police recovered the body from the beel around 12:30pm after local people informed of the matter.
The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Police suspected that miscreants slaughtered and cut off his two legs a few days ago and dumped the body in the beel.
The body was sent to Naogaon Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
