Two children drown in Chandpur
Two children drowned in a pond at South Swarna village at Bakila union in Hajiganj upazila yesterday afternoon.
The deceased were identified as Sayem, 5, son of Jasimuddin and Saamey, 6, son of Dulal Bepary of the village. Both are students of KG I at Bakila Kindergarten.
Locals said they fell on the pond and drowned while returning home from Bakila KG school after attending their classes.
