Baby drowns
A baby girl drowned in a pond in the district. The incident occurred at Kulfadanga village under Sadar upazila yesterday noon.
Victim Kamrunnahar was one and a half years old daughter of Kamal Hossain of the village.
Locals said, Kamrunnahar was playing near the pond at around 11:00 am. At one stage, she fell in the pond as there was none to look after her.
