Outlaw held in Pabna
An operative of outlawed Purba Banglar Communist Party (PBCP)-Red flag faction, was held with firearms from Doyarampur village in Santhia upazila on Wednesday night. Arrestee Md Shomsher Ali, of Fulbaria village in Santhia upazila is a regional leader of the outfit, police said. Officer in-charge of Atikula police station Md Robiul Hasan said, acting on a tip-off, Ataikula police raided Doyarampur field on Wednesday night when the outlaws gathered there to commit a crime. Police detained Shomsher from the spot while his accomplices fled away. A gun was recovered from the spot.
