Five Jamaat men held in Pabna
Police arrested five Jamaat men from Santhia poura market area yesterday evening as the party men held anti government procession in Santhia municipality market area defying restriction. Earlier, police foiled the jamaat men's procession.
The arrestees are Md Kamruzzaman, secretary of Santhia poura unit Jamaat, Hafez Minhaz Uddin, secretary of Dhopadaha union unit, Md Abdul Goni, secretary of Karamja union unit and activists Abdul Hamid and Abdus Shukur.
The arrestees would be produced in the court today.
