Youth jailed for stalking in Pabna
A mobile court yesterday sentenced a youth to three months imprisonment on charge of stalking a schoolgirl in front of Maniknagar Girls' High School in Ishwardi upazila.
Locals caught Md Ismail Hossain Sanju, 20, son of Shaheb Ali of Rooppur village in the upazila while he was teasing the girl. They beat up the boy and then handed him over to the police.
Ismail was later produced before a mobile court led by led by Ishwardi upazila Nirbahi officer Md Zakir Hossain.
After taking witnesses' statements, the court sentenced Ismail to three imprisonment
