Two women commit 'suicide'
Two women allegedly committed suicide in Thakurgaon Sadar upazila on Tuesday.
Nur Banu, 30, wife of Iynat Ali of Mohammadpur village under Sadar upazila allegedly committed suicide by taking poison over a family feud in the afternoon.
Family members took her to Thakurgaon Sadar Hospital where the on duty doctor declared her dead.
In another incident, Sufia Begum, 35, wife of Azmal Ali of Madhupur village under Thakurgaon Sadar upazila allegedly committed suicide by taking poison at her house the same day.
Family sources said Sufia took poison over a family feud at about 1:30pm. Family members rushed her to Thakurgaon Sadar Hospital but she died at Dholar on the way to hospital.
