Man killed in Thakurgaon
A man was murdered at his in-laws' house at Kazibosti village under Thakurgaon Sadar upazila on Sunday afternoon. The victim was identified as Shahidullah, 30, son of Bangthu Mohammad of Morolhat village under Baliadangi upazila. Police and victim's father said Shahidullah and his father came to his father-in-law Abdus Sattar's house on Sunday noon. At about 3:00pm Sahidullah engaged in an altercation with Sattar's cousin Aklima and her husband Ansarul Islam over a trifle matter. At one stage of the altercation, Ansarul hit on the neck of Shahidullah leaving him seriously injured. He was taken to Thakurgaon Sadar Hospital where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.
