Girl found dead in Gazipur
Police yesterday recovered the body of a teenaged schoolgirl from Khilgaon area under Joydebpur Police Station of the district.
The victims, identified as Hiramukta, 16, was a class eight student of Bhadun High School at Pubail. She was daughter of one army sergeant Habibur Rahman.
Officer-in-charge of Pubail Police camp Abdul Karim said victim's mother found her daughter's body hanging from a bamboo bar in the corridor of their house in the morning.
Being informed, the police recovered the body and sent it to hospital for autopsy. The cause of the death could not be known immediately.
An unnatural death case was filed with Jodebpur police station in this connection.
